In the excellent lodging with stylish ambience you can experience Namibia comfortably and up close. The establishment with it´s generous rooms is newly renovated and well looked after.
Our refreshing swimming pool
Our fenced-in pool is the perfect place to cool off after the heat of the day. The comfortable deck chairs tempt you to take a break, lie down and relax, while reading a book or enjoying a refreshing drink from our bar.
The green courtyard
Our gem – the green oasis in the middle of the mostly dry farm.
The Lapa to linger
The lapa, a covered but open patio, is the perfect place to read, play games and exchange testimonies of the day.
You also dine here together with your hosts.
Fat bikes for rent
Experience our farm on one of our two fatbikes. Goeing through the sandy bushes is a Special and fun challenge.
Our gym
Like everything, our gym-room is self-made, but you will find enough equipment to get back in shape after long hours in the car.
Leisure offers for young and old
In our courtyard we also offer various activities for pastime: table tennis, a badminton net, chess games and similar activities
Private tennis court
An exciting farm experience awaits you on our Dornhügel centre court which is famous for its treacherous terrain; only the most experienced and quick minded will succeed in such a match. The trick is to be able to follow the random jumps of the ball when it hits a crack in the court or bounces on a Marula-tree leaf.
The library with extensive tips about Namibia
Another attraction is our well stocked library which holds numerous novels and illustrated books for reading during those hot sunny days or when night fall comes too early during the dry winter season. Movies are also a part of our collection and give you a taste of the wild African continent. They can be enjoyed underneath the African sky after a consuming day out in the veldt.
We also have our own little souvenir shop where you will most definitely find special gifts for friends and family – how about homemade Chutney or some bushman art?
